Nelson's Blood No. 2 Cocktail
If you're interested in the origin of the name "Nelson's Blood", it is believed that after Admiral Nelson’s death at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, his body was stored in a cask of rum in order to preserve his body for the journey home. It's said that during the trip, the cask was tapped and sailors drank the rum mixed with his blood. Lucky for you, there is no blood in this recipe and the drink to commemorate such an event is far more delicious than the rum they drank from Nelson's cask.
