The Best Rum-Spiked Coffee Recipes

Step Up Your Coffee Game

Have you ever wondered how you can step up your game when it comes to making coffee? Like finding your new favorite coffee grounds? Or adding some kind of special ingredient? Look no further.

Here are three of the best rum-spiked coffee recipes using Pusser's New Premium Up Spirits Coffee Grounds and Pusser's Rum.

1. Pharisaeer Kaffee

This German coffee spiked with rum started with German Pastor, Gustav Beyer, who kept complaining that people within the church were drinking. So, instead of stopping… you guessed it. They put the rum in their coffee.

 Ingredients:

  • 2-4 oz. Pusser’s Premium Coffee Grounds
  • 1 1/2 oz. Pusser’s Rum
  • Whipped cream
  • Sugar cubes

 Directions:

  • Add coffee to the cup and sweeten it with sugar cubes. Pour in Pusser’s Rum. Top with whipped cream. Enjoy!

2. Spiked Coconut Iced Coffee

This iced coffee tastes exactly like waking up in a tropical beach house, pouring some iced coffee, and watching the ocean waves. This recipe includes a creamy, coconut blend of rum-spiked coffee.

 Ingredients:

  • 2 tbs shredded coconut
  • 3/4 cups Pusser’s Premium Coffee Grounds
  • 1 1/2 oz. Pusser’s Gunpowder Proof Rum
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 4 tbs whipped cream
  • Ice cubes

Directions:

Fill glass with ice. Toast shredded coconut over high heat until it begins to brown. Remove from heat and set aside. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the coffee and rum. Shake well. Strain into mug or glass. Pour in coconut milk. Stir until combined. Top with whipped cream. Sprinkle toasted coconut over top. Enjoy!

3. Everything Nice

Anyone else like a little coffee in their rum? Then this one is perfect for you. This recipe is a delicious blend of strong dark rum and a hint of vanilla taste.

  • 1 1/2 tbs malted milk powder
  • 1 1/2 tbs dark brown sugar
  • 6 oz. Pusser’s Premium Coffee Grounds
  • 2 oz. Pusser’s Gunpowder Proof Spiced Rum
  • 1 tbs simple syrup
  • Kosher salt
  • Whipped cream

Directions:

Lovely Rum I still have a Bottle of Red Label Admirals Reserved I bought some 20 years ago. Takes me back to my visit to the distillery in 1981 on the Virgin Islands.
