2 oz Pusser’s Rum
1 oz Brandy
1/2 oz Gin
2 oz Lemon Juice
1 oz Orange Juice
3 tbsp lemon juice
½ oz Orgeat Syrup or Almond Liqueur
½ oz Sweet Sherry or Tawny Port as a float.
- Shake all ingredients (except the Sherry or Port)
- Pour into a 14-oz glass.
- Add a sherry of port float.
- Garnish with mint sprig bouquet.
Fog Cutter Cocktail: A Twist on a Classic
Don't be fooled! This seemingly innocuous orange-yellow long, fruity cocktail packs a serious punch.
A version of a Tiki classic, credited to Trader Vic and Don the Beachcomber. Vic remarks in his Bartender's Guide (1972 revised edition), "Fog Cutter, hell. After two of these, you won't even see the stuff."
