1. Spicy Mai Tai

Mai Tais are classic rum cocktails. Using spiced rum gives the drink an extra kick that's perfect for a day by the pool or even by the fireside dreaming of warmer days.

For our spin on this drink, you're going to need:

  • 1/2 oz white rum
  • 1 1/2 oz Gunpowder Proof Spiced
  • 1 oz orange curacao
  • 3/4 oz lime juice
  • lime wheel (for garnish)
  • mint sprig (for garnish)

Making it is simple. For this version, all you have to do is put all of the liquid ingredients into a shaker full of ice. Pour it into your favorite cocktail glass and garnish it with the mint sprig and lime.

For some added flair, add a fun cocktail umbrella!

2. Spiced Pina Colada

Looking for a tropical drink that's a bit sweeter? Keep it simple with a fruity drink that everyone at your next pool party will love.

For this drink, you're going to need:

  • 1/2 cup frozen diced pineapple
  • 2 oz coconut cream
  • 1/2 oz coconut rum
  • 1 1/2 oz Gunpowder Proof Spiced
  • pineapple slices (for garnish)

Put all of your ingredients in a blender. Blend until the drink is smooth and free of chunks. Pour the frozen cocktail into one large glass or two smaller glasses and top with a slice of pineapple.
