October’s Featured Cocktails

As the seasons change, so do our taste for cocktails. Every month we’re going to be featuring a few of our favorite seasonal cocktails.

Check out this month’s featured cocktails, just in time for the spookiest season of the year!

Pusser’s Rum Nelson’s Blood:

2 oz. (~60 mL) Pusser’s Gunpowder Proof Rum
2 oz. (~60 mL) cranberry juice
1 oz. (~30 mL) orange juice
1 oz. (~30 mL) lime juice
1/2 oz. (~15 mL) sugar syrup
A few dashes Angostura Bitters

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
Shake well. Pour into glass with ice and serve.

The Headless Horseman

(aka Halloween Painkiller)

2 oz. (~60 mL) Pusser’s Gunpowder Proof
1 oz. (~30 mL) Real Pumpkin Puree
1/2 oz. (~15 mL) Real Coconut Cream
2 oz. (~60 mL) Pineapple Juice
2 dashes Bittermen’s Tiki bitters
Combine all in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a glass over ice.
Garnish with fresh grated nutmeg and lime peel, then serve.

Pusser’s Bloody Rum Punch:

2 oz. (~60 mL) Pusser’s Gunpowder Proof Rum
2 oz. (~60 mL) Pomegranate Juice
2 oz. (~60 mL) Cranberry Juice
2 oz. (~60 mL) Pineapple Juice
Splash of Grenadine
Fresh Orange wedge

Add ice, rum, and juices to cocktail shaker.
Shake well. Pour mixture into tall glass over ice.
Garnish with a fresh orange.

Apple Cinnamon Cider Crisp:

2 oz. (~60 mL) Pusser’s Blue Label Rum
2 oz. (~60 mL) Apple Cider
3 tsp. (~15 mL) Maple Syrup
Squeeze Fresh Lemon
3-4 dashes Cinnamon

Pour rum, cider, maple syrup, lemon, and cinnamon
into cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Shake well! Strain into glass filled with ice.
Garnish with fresh apple, rosemary sprig and cinnamon rim.
